I once spoke at Friday evening prayers at a Mosque, a rare opportunity for a non-Muslim. My talk concerned my research into sounds and emotions and how it relates to aspects of the Isalmic faith. It got interesting when an Islamic fundamentalist interrupted the talk. I wrote an article about the experience that appeared in the spring, 2013 issue of the literary magizine Red Ochre Press.
